“I chose Project ASPIRE because I think it’s an amazing opportunity where, through the DIRFloortime certification and other supplemental training, I can learn how to facilitate a connection between a child with autism and their caregiver. I will have the ability to assist a child in learning to connect and interact with their environment, which in return help with their emotional, social, and cognitive capacities. This program will give me some tools that I could incorporate into the community I choose to work in!”
“Some of my future goals are to become a therapist who fully integrates a holistic approach with all my clients and addresses their needs. By incorporating mental health and social-emotionally based interventions into my practice, and evidence-based interventions.”
