“I was interested in Project ASPIRE because of my passion for supporting children with various disabilities. I knew I wanted to work with children for my future career after being a dance teacher for three years, working with both neurotypical and neurodivergent kids. When my cohort was introduced to the DIRFloortime model by Dr. Carrie Alvarado, I was inspired to build on my experience with neurodivergent children while deepening my understanding of neurodiversity-affirming care through this program and its mentorship opportunities.”

“After graduating, I want to specifically work in early childhood intervention (ECI), school-based, or outpatient settings, advocating for my clients and prioritizing impactful outcomes.”
