“One of the things that first drew me to Project ASPIRE was its focus on strengthening caregiver-child relationships. Growing up with a sibling who had more intensive healthcare needs, I saw how the stress of navigating medical challenges can affect the entire family
dynamic. That experience has made me especially passionate about supporting not only children, but also the caregivers who play such an important role in their development. I want the opportunity to learn skills that will allow me to give families another tool in their
toolbox and help make their day-to-day lives even a little bit easier. One of the most meaningful parts of occupational therapy to me is helping a child build confidence that extends far beyond therapy and into every part of their life.”

” My future career goal is to continue growing my knowledge and experience working with children across settings such as inpatient, outpatient, and school-based practice.”
