“I chose to pursue Project ASPIRE because of my passion for supporting children with complex communication needs. These children often experience challenges beyond speech and language alone, and this opportunity allowed me to learn an intervention approach that considers their developmental level, individual needs, and interactions with communication partners.”

“My goal as a future clinician is to use the foundation Project ASPIRE has given me to become an empathetic, evidence-based, and authentic practitioner who is passionate about helping children understand and express themselves. I hope to discover and pursue a patient population that will continue to challenge and grow my clinical skills throughout my career. Regardless of whether I ultimately work with adults or children, I believe the knowledge and skills I’ve developed through Project ASPIRE will meaningfully inform my practice with any population I serve.

Fun Fact: “My life theme song is Walking on Sunshine because it always puts me in a positive,
can-do mindset.
