“I was initially interested in this program due to wish to practice in the school setting.  I was also fascinated with the DIR Floortime Model after Dr. Carrie Alvarado came to teach my cohort about it during my first year. When I learned that I had a chance to get certified in DIR Floortime, work more closely with my SLP colleagues, and receive mentorship, I knew I had to apply!”

“I hope to gain better knowledge about how to support patients with complex conditions in the school and ECI settings. Additionally, I hope to be able to provide neurodiversity-affirming care in the school and ECI settings.”
